Lawrence Man, 26, Seriously Injured In Tyngsborough Hit-And-Run: Police

A 26-year-old Lawrence man is hospitalized with serious injuries after becoming the victim of an early morning hit-and-run in Tyngsborough, authorities said.

State Troopers responded to a report of a truck hitting a pedestrian on Route 3 north in Tyngsborough just before 5 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, Massachusetts State Police report.

The man was airlifted to an area hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries, police said. Initial investigation suggests the man was standing outside of his car when he was struck.

Authorities suspect the involved truck to be a white box truck that crossed into New Hampshire shortly after the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police at at 978-475-3800.
